Thanet's SEO Expert

Thanet SEO Expert, Matt B

Matt is Thanet's leading SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) consultant.

As a local man, Matt has already undertaken extensive Thanet specific local SEO research and has a wealth of experience relating specifically to Thanet SEO and general search marketing.

The service you get is real, effective, honest and reasonably priced.

What is SEO?

Simply put SEO is the art of demonstrating relevance in order to list well for search terms likely to bring traffic interested in your offering. Or to put it another way - it's the key to your business website getting the qualified traffic you need.

There are two ways to approach SEO - the fly-by-night (black hat) approach which works well for a while and then falls apart or the steady and organic "white hat" approach. Matt is a strong advocate of White Hat SEO making him Thanet's go-to guy for organic SEO

Not All SEO is Equal.

Thanet, as much of the rest of the world, has its fair share of snake oil salesmen. These less than reputable people will attempt to sell you a service that at best does nothing but cost you money and at worst hurts your search engine ranking.

Just because they put "web designer" on their business card does not mean that they know the first thing about SEO.

SEO: Do I need it?

Is your website getting millions of daily visitors. Are those visitors engaging with your content? Are they buying your product or service? And are they coming back a second or third time?

Unless the answer to all of these questions is a resounding yes, then you need the sort of SEO that only Matt offers. SEO that holistically addresses your business needs. SEO that zooms in on the issues. SEO that targets the audience that your business targets. SEO that works.

Local SEO is different

Any SEO, but especially as something as niche as local SEO requires finesse. Thanet is a small place and the SEO that will work for an area like this must focus on keywords that have traffic.

Did you know that most people target the wrong keywords?

It is a sad but true fact that when creating content people think that they need to rank for just one or two keywords and very often these are not the keywords that are going to result in sales. One of the first things that I will work with you to build is a portfolio of keywords that matter in your specific industry. Keywords people are actually searching for.

Did you know that some Thanet keywords "are not Thanet"?

A classic example of this is the SEO keyword "Margate". People wrongly target this keyword thinking that as it is high traffic, it must be good traffic.

The problem is that most of that search traffic is looking for results relating to another place called Margate. Margate is a city in Broward County, Florida as well as a town in Thanet, Kent. Google does a reasonable job of filtering search based on location but without knowing this, you risk falling foul of Google's "low quality" signals whenever you pick up traffic for the wrong country.

Act Now

There can only be one website at the number one listing for your industry's best search terms. If it's not you then it will be your competitors.

There is only one SEO superstar in Thanet and Matt has a finite amount of time. If you delay, you risk missing out on a service that could change your business forever.

You can get hold of Matt via the contact form or by email.
