Advertise on Thanet Star
Advert spaces are available on every page of Thanet Star and there are two ways of purchasing ad space depending on your needs and requirements.
£1.00 per 1000 Impressions
By far the most effective method is called CPM (Cost per Thousand) advertising. You can advertise in any of the six 125 by 125 advert spaces on a CPM basis for just £1 per thousand impressions. All spaces are shown "above the fold" on every page of the site.
For this you will need to provide a JPEG, PNG or GIF image that is 125 pixels by 125 pixels. For best results you should also provide a website or email address that the image can be linked to.
To make the purchase simply email your desired image(s) and the link you would like connected to it to the email address shown. Please state how many blocks of a thousand you would like to purchase and if you would like to pay by cheque or digitally via credit or debit card. An digital invoice will be dispatched to the return address when the advert is accepted and will begin rotation when payment is made.
Once your ad is running you will be emailed updates to alert you when your remaining impressions are running low. This is done by the same system that will deliver your ads and create weekly statistics (available on request).
Bid for text links
Article pages also show text based adverts. These are managed by a third party's adbright and bidvertiser. The adverts for these spaces can be obtained where ever you see the "advertise here" link. However read below for more options.
Direct Banner and Text
Rather than use these third party agents for your advertising needs you can, for a price, by-pass them and advertise directly in the space. The price of direct adverts depends on the size, nature and duration of your advertising needs. Please email a rough outline of your requirements for a quote.
