Thanet Blog List Currently Closed

Thanet Blog List is currently not completely open. In fact it is likely to be closed to new entries by most people. The reason for this is that it uses an excellent anti-spam script called "bad behavior" which spots spam bots before they get started.

Bad behavior, however, has an update after a blacklist was deactivated and thus returning a false positive on most, if not all, IP addresses. Simply downloading the latest version from the site and copying the core files over your current set will complete the update and remove the issue.

Here's to hoping to a swift and ready update at Thanet Blog List so we can all get back to enjoying the most up to date listing of blogs in Thanet.

Hey Matt, actually it was partly due to this and partly because I've been very lazy!

You've now been added to the Thanet Blog List.

It's Christmas day and Ive found some time for myself. I actually worked around it by renaming the bad behavior plugin and accessed it all fine. Now for an update I feel.

Thanet has rhythm

A big congratulations to youngsters at Thanet Percussion School on winning the award for the best overall composition at the National Festival of Music for Youth. They have been invited to play the TUC national conference in Brighton during September and then at the Schools Prom at non other than the the Royal Albert Hall in London during November. thanetextra.co.uk has more

Frank Stocks retires

According to this weeks Thanet Extra one of Kent's first paramedics Frank Stocks has retired. He moved to the Thanet Station in 1970 and has served for 40 years. Good on ya lad - enjoy your retirement we think you deserve it.
