I know that some bloggers from Thanet are using adsense to earn an income from their blogs. I doubt that anyone is getting a fortune from it at the moment but then earning from blogging is hard work. However, the terms of service are changing. All referral traffic will no longer count as of the later end of this month.

What this means is that small changes are currently needed for maybe 10% of Thanet bloggers. Certainly a new campaign I was planning to roll out must be stopped. While this is a minor irritation it is nothing compared to the cheek of the fact that they will still take your clicks but without reward.
For now the regular ad units (the original flavour text ads) will continue to provide for us but this trend indicates that we brits could find ourselves out in the cold. Bidvertiser and adbrite are two alternatives that might be worth considering. What is your opinion?
