Please feel free to comment
So long as we remember that we (mostly) all live within about five or six miles of each other and might have to share a room one day I think we can all get along just fine. Disagreements and all.
so here is the lowdown on comments.
The system asks you for a URL or link. This is optional but if you have a site, blog, or even a Live in Thanet profile, you can point people who enjoyed the comment back towards it.
The system also asks for an email address. This is not so I can spam you but to prevent "drive by trolling" (when an anonymous trouble maker posts something just to get people stirred up because for some reason it makes trouble makers think twice. The address is never published (if you want that you can put it in the link section but I don't recommend it). The email address requirement also means that if you say something especially interesting we can privately talk about it (if you want). But most of all it just seems to cut down spam.
The system asks for your name. This is because I am noisy... no I jest. It is so we know what you want to us to call you. If you want to be known as "Captain Juggs" then so-be-it.
Of course prime among all that is the comment itself. My rules are simple - act your age not your shoe size and I will try to do likewise. I reserve the right to moderate the comments as I see fit but so far this has resulted in my leaving all comments as they are (with the exception of two adverts for a local blue pill).
