OGC "w*nkers" - it's official!

The Office of Government Commerce (OGC) recently spent Ł14,000 of tax payers money on a new logo. Which as you can see looks "very nice" (even if you would not catch me playing with the idea of paying so much money for it).

The problem is that the Governemnt department "needs to get a grip on itself" for if you turn it sideays it looks like this.

DentaLine update

We recently had an email from someone at the NHS letting us know that the DentaLine nuber had changed. According to the email the correct number is now 01634 890300 and the old number (01227 781818) is no longer in use.

China Gateway needs public inquiry, says CPRE

The Campaign to Protect Rural England has written to Hazel Blears (Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government) calling for a public inquiry into the proposed China Gateway development according to Kent News. They are worried that the decision is too big for Thanet council to take alone because of “implications that it would have beyond the Thanet district”. Read More.
