Gale's Dinner

I've been having a look at the MPs expenses (which were published today) and took a peek at some of Mr Gale's.
Take, for example, Roger Gale's Additional Cost Allowance for 2007 to 2008. In 2007 it looks like Roger's dinner cost £242.75 a month yet come 2008 and suddenly it costs a square £50.
Would I be cynical is thinking someone saw which way things were going and changed his ways?

If Gorden Brown has his way we could one day enjoy even better access as he intends to get none other than Sir Tim Berners-Lee the inventor of the World Wide Web to advice government on how to make documents easier to get to by us rotten lot out here in blogging land.
