Things are moving apace with the code I have been writing to generate the top 100 Thanet blogs. The statistical methods to be used have been numerically modeled and appear sound and classes (a form of archetype abstract and template in code) have been created to build the metric monitors from.

In English this means I have been working hard.

However, things will have to take a backseat for a short while as I have a conference to attend in London where I will be representing part of Thanet. If there is anything generally interesting to report back (and that it would be reasonable to do so) you can be sure I will write about it. I will be departing before the birds wake up on Monday morning.

DentaLine update

We recently had an email from someone at the NHS letting us know that the DentaLine nuber had changed. According to the email the correct number is now 01634 890300 and the old number (01227 781818) is no longer in use.

China Gateway needs public inquiry, says CPRE

The Campaign to Protect Rural England has written to Hazel Blears (Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government) calling for a public inquiry into the proposed China Gateway development according to Kent News. They are worried that the decision is too big for Thanet council to take alone because of �implications that it would have beyond the Thanet district�. Read More.
